Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Ortiz is a Mining Engineer from Universidad de Chile and Ph.D. from University of Alberta. Currently, he is Professor and Mark Cutifani / Anglo American Chair in Mining Innovation at the University of Exeter.

Sebastian Avalos, PhD

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Avalos is a Mining Engineer and M.Sc. in Mining from Universidad de Chile and Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University. Author and lead developer of the Annapurna Platform.

Jorge Saa, BEng

Principal Mining Consultant

Jorge is a Mining Engineer from Universidad de Chile. He is a seasoned geostatistician with experience at WSP, Octal Ingeniería, and AMEC. He specializes in resource estimation, NI 43-101 auditing, and software development.

Nicolas Avalos, MSc

Project Geologist

Nicolas Avalos is a Geologist with a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Chile. He specializes in geological modeling, QA/QC, and database management.

Paula Larrondo, MSc

Senior Geology Advisor

Paula is a Geologist and M.Sc. from Universidad de Chile and the University of Alberta. She has 15 years of experience as a geostatistician and is a Ph.D. candidate at Queen’s University.

Oscar Peredo, PhD

Senior R&D Advisor

Dr. Peredo is a Computer Scientist and Mathematical Engineer from Universidad de Chile with over 15 years of experience in high-performance and distributed computing.

Nelson Morales, PhD

Senior Mining Advisor

Dr. Morales is a Mathematical Engineer from the University of Chile and a Ph.D. in Science from Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis. He has over 20 years of experience developing mathematical models for mine planning.
